By connecting the global demand for high-quality carbon offsets with the everyday activities of AC technicians worldwide, Recoolit channels funds towards frontline actions that will have the most significant impact, preventing gigatons of emissions over the next few decades. Founded in late 2020, Recoolit is the brainchild of CEO Louis, who identified the refrigerant issue as the number one climate solution according to Project Drawdown. Realizing the enormity of the problem and the inadequacy of existing solutions, Louis decided to take action. He immersed himself in the issue, learning from technicians and waste collectors in Southeast Asia, and Recoolit was born.
