NEOM Green Hydrogen Company (NGHC) is establishing the world's largest green hydrogen production facility at Oxagon in NEOM, Saudi Arabia. An equal joint venture between ACWA Power, Air Products, and NEOM, the company is on a mission to lead the global transition to a carbon-free future. The plant will integrate approximately 4GW of solar and wind energy to produce up to 600 tonnes of carbon-free hydrogen daily, exported as green ammonia to decarbonize sectors like heavy industry and transportation. This project, aligned with Saudi Vision 2030, represents a total investment of $8.4 billion and is expected to save up to 5 million tonnes of CO2 annually once fully operational in 2026.
