Locolla, founded in 2016 and headquartered in Hong Kong, is a shared micro-mobility company and the unique operator of shared bikes (LocoBike) in Hong Kong since October 2017. It aims to provide a cost-effective AIoT-based green mobility solution and service to drive green mobility adoption globally. Locolla offers shared bicycles, electric-assist bicycles, and other low-carbon transportation services, leveraging artificial intelligence and big data technology to improve fleet deployment and user experience. As of 2021, LocoBike was the unique shared bike service in Hong Kong supporting green mobility, winning the HKICT Silver Award (Smart Transportation). The company has also co-operated on an Electric-Assisted Bike Trial Scheme with the HKGov Transport Department and implemented the first smart bike path in the Central-Wan Chai Seafront in 2022.
