Gulf Renewables Lab (GRL) is a joint venture between GCC Lab and UL, located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, serving the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. As an independent renewable energy innovation center, GRL provides advanced testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) services for components and systems across the renewable energy value chain, specifically focusing on solar and wind energy. The laboratory supports the development of renewable energy infrastructure through technical advisory, resource assessment, and specialized training for engineers. By leveraging UL's global expertise and GCC Lab's local market insights, GRL facilitates the localization of manufacturing and promotes energy sustainability in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030.
