Epago Technologies Limited was founded in 2022 as a spin-off from the government's InnoHK initiative. The company specializes in the development and manufacturing of Gas Diffusion Electrodes (GDEs) and Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEAs), which are critical components in hydrogen fuel cells. They manufacture high-quality MEAs for PEM stacks and provide end-to-end consulting solutions for hydrogen and environment control. Epago also has a product called "Thetis," an electrolysis-based dehumidifier. This innovative solution is designed to protect opto-electronics, quantum computers, and museum showcases. The AEM-based dehumidifier combines waterless dehumidification with IoT connectivity and AI-based predictions. This technology ensures the protection of valuable artifacts and perishables in critical conditions while reducing maintenance and consuming less energy than traditional dehumidifiers.
