ASB Biodiesel (Hong Kong) Ltd. is a green energy company focused on converting waste oil into sustainable biodiesel. The company is located in the Tseung Kwan O Industrial Estate in Hong Kong and plays a significant role in the local recycling market. ASB Biodiesel has the ability and technology to recycle all local used cooking oil, turning it into a sustainable energy source. Their plant can process 250 metric tons of waste oil to produce 230 metric tons of renewable energy daily. ASB Biodiesel operates under the 4R concept�reduce, recycle, reuse, repurpose, and replace�fulfilling the whole life cycle from waste reduction to repurposal. By collecting used cooking oil from over 5,000 local restaurants and factories, they help reduce landfill pressure and contribute to Hong Kong's goal of self-sufficiency in sustainable energy. Biodiesel B100, their product, is a renewable fuel produced from waste cooking oil, animal fat, or vegetable oil through simple reactions, which most diesel engines can adopt.
